Senior Software Engineer
Next Caller needs an experienced software engineer who yearns to work with a crossfunctional team in order to keep customers safe while stopping criminals in their tracks. You can expect autonomy, respect, and collaboration with an exceptional team that includes multiple former CTOs. Next Caller engineers deliver real-time, API-based authentication services to major financial services institutions in a serverless AWS environment. A Senior Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in making our mission to provide a positive customer experience through real-time call verification a reality.

Responsibilities
Work with other engineers, Next Caller team members, and customers to create
innovative and effective solutions to the real-world problem of authentication and
fraud prevention in the phone channel,, while performing research for future
enhancements and new products/solutions.
Requirements
- Experience architecting and implementing complex software
- Ability to design highly available and scalable solutions
- Expert level Python skills (asyncio a plus)
- In-depth experience with Serverless architecture within the AWS ecosystem
- Linux Proficiency
- Expertise with writing and consuming APIs
- Experience with machine learning and big data
- Can work effectively with a distributed team
- Positive attitude and drive to solve tough problems a must

- Familiarity with SIP and SS7 protocols
