2026 Grace Hopper Celebration Cancellation
The Department of Computer Science is deeply disappointed by the abrupt cancellation of the 2026 Grace Hopper Celebration, which was scheduled to take place this week. BU CS had made plans to represent the department at the conference with selected students, and we recognize that this news is especially disappointing after their selection.
We are proud of our selected students and congratulate them on being outstanding students in our community: Azem Kakitaeva GRS’26, Vivian Tvedt GRS’27, Hanna Samuel Tadesse GRS’26, Irene Deng GRS’27, Pranati Chainrai Sunil CAS’28, Ayska Gadhwala CAS’28.
We are looking into other opportunities for the selected students to connect with the computing community and advance their professional goals.
