Center for Computing & Data Sciences – Construction Update – 9/25/20

During the weekend of September 26^th

• On Saturday, crews will be on-site to continue with excavation in the tower portion of the building, along with the installation of bracing for the support of the excavation system.

During the week of September 28^th

• The project team has revised the logistics for the large concrete pour of the podium mat slab scheduled for this Thursday, October 1^st. The modified plan will now have concrete trucks utilizing the construction gate off Granby Street for site access, instead of the alley along Silber Way. Trucks will also be entering the site via the construction gate on the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Granby Street as originally planned. This activity will involve approximately 120 trucks entering and exiting the site starting at 7 am and is anticipated to be completed around 8 pm.
