During the week of October 7:

General:

Temporary signage is posted to help the public navigate through the first floor. The main building access is through the Essex Street entrance. A secondary entrance is located on the rear of the building near the ramp to the garage. The main stairwell from the parking garage and up through the fifth floor is primary means of access. The existing elevator will continue to remain functional throughout the entirety of the project. All stairwells are available for emergency egress. Temporary emergency egress signs are posted throughout.

Garage Level

• Fire alarm installation along with miscellaneous mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) will continue.
• The installation of both the MEI and the HTC elevators will continue.

On the 1st Level

• Work will continue at the MEI elevator vestibule on the 1st floor.
• The arcade vestibule lighting and waterproofing will continue.
• Painting of the ornamental ceiling along with the corridors will continue.
• Air-handler start-ups will commence.
• Stair 5 glass installation will continue.
• Installation of insulation will continue in the HTC corridor.
• Permanent lighting fixtures will commence.

On the Mezzanine Level

• The installation of fixed furniture will be wrapping up.
• All MEP finish work will continue.

On the 2nd Level

• Temporary directional signage is placed to help the public navigate.
• Sink and fixture installation work will continue in the bathrooms.
• Fixed furniture installation will commence.
• Painting in both the common areas as well as construction will continue.
• Fin tube radiators continue to be installed around the perimeter, beneath the new windows.
• MEP finish work has commenced and will continue for the next couple weeks.
• Mechanical, electrical, and HVAC work is ongoing at the air-handling units.
• Air-handler startup will commence.

On Levels 3, 4, and 5

• Ongoing installation of the fire alarm system will continue.
• The MEI elevator installation is ongoing.

Exterior Façade

• Continuation of stone cutting and patching.
• Caulking and sealant of windows will continue.

As a reminder to all, please be aware of all directional signage, as pedestrian travel paths may be altered at both the interior and exterior of the building. Your safety is imperative!
