Myles Standish Hall – Construction Activity – 12/3/16 to 12/9/16
For 12/3/16 to 12/9/16:
Deliveries
- Subcontractors will receive deliveries all week between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on both Beacon Street and Bay State Road.
Onsite Construction
Saturday Work – 12/3/16 – On Saturday, the following construction work will be occurring onsite from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Activities will require workers, trucks, and equipment in the point park. The man and material hoist will be running. The crane will be active on Bay State Road and Beacon Street.
- Caulk windows on Beacon and Bay State Road using lifts.
- Remove staging with crane at Bay State Road and Annex in alley.
- Clean and stock staging for masons in the alley and on the Beacon Street and Bay State Road sides of the building.
- Interior framing throughout and loading drywall
Verizon Off-Hours Work – 12/4/16 to 12/8/16 – Verizon has informed us that they will be working on site from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. from Sunday to Wednesday. Verizon’s work is unrelated to the project.
Demolition
- Load out at Beacon Street – Load out demolition debris from 1st floor to dumpster with ongoing daily dumpster swaps.
- Demolition of floor 1 (interior).
Masonry Restoration (Exterior – Bay State Road and Beacon Street)
- Continue rebuilding exterior façade on the Beacon Street and Bay State Road sides of the building.
Continue installation of concrete masonry units on the 1st floor.
Continue installation of windows.
Roof (Exterior)
- Continue installation of roofing.
Alley Between Annex and Myles at Bay State Road (Exterior)
Continue installation of brick and windows.

- No site utility work this week.
