Myles Standish Hall – Construction Activity – 11/11/16 – 11/18/16
For 11/11/16 to 11/18/16:
Deliveries
- Subcontractors will receive deliveries all week between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on both Beacon Street and Bay State Road.
Onsite Construction
Friday 11/11/16 – No work due Veterans Day
Saturday Work – 11/12/16 – On Saturday, the following work will be occurring onsite from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Activities will require workers, trucks, and equipment in the point park. The man and material hoist will be running.
- Demo of façade on the Bay State Road and Beacon Street sides of the building
- Installation of relieving angles off of fraco on the Bay State Road side of the building
- Removal of staging at Annex in the alley
- Clean and stock staging for masons on the Bay State Road and Beacon Street sides of the building.
- Interior framing and interior demolition
- Loading drywall on the 9th floor from the hoist on the Beacon Street side of the building
Demolition
- Load out at Beacon Street – Load out demolition debris from 1st floor to dumpster with ongoing daily dumpster swaps.
- Demolition and load out of basement
- Exterior demolition on Bay State Road and Beacon Street
- Demolition of floor 1 (interior)
Masonry Restoration (Exterior – Bay State Road and Beacon Street)
- Continue rebuilding exterior façade above Annex off of swing staging.
- Continue rebuilding exterior façade on the Bay State Road side of the building.
- Continue with installation of windows.
Roof (Exterior)
- Continue with installation of roofing.
Alley Between Annex and Myles at Bay State Road (Exterior)
- Continue with installation of brick and windows.
Site Utility Work
- Continue with utilities within the site fence on the Beacon Street side of the building and in the point park.
