Myles Standish Hall – Construction Activity – 10/15/16 to 10/21/16
For 10/15/16 to 10/21/16:
Deliveries
• Subcontractors will receive deliveries all week between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on both Beacon Street and Bay State Road.
Onsite Construction
Saturday Work – 10/15/16 – On Saturday, the following construction work will be occurring onsite from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Activities will require workers, trucks, and equipment in the point park.
• Installation of relieving angles in the alley on fraco.
• Staging removal at Annex in the alley
• Clean and stock staging for masons on the Beacon Street and Bay State Road sides of the building.
• Interior framing and interior demolition
• Man and material hoist will be running
Demolition
• Load out at Beacon Street – Load out demolition debris from 1st floor to dumpster with ongoing daily dumpster swaps.
• Demolition and load out of basement
• Demolition of floor 1 (interior)
• Saw-cutting floors 1-9
Masonry Restoration (Exterior – Bay State Road and Beacon Street)
• Continue rebuilding exterior façade above Annex off of swing staging.
• Continue rebuilding exterior façade on the Bay State Road side of building.
Roof (Exterior)
• Roof blocking and plywood installation at parapets
• Temporary roofing of penetrations and parapet
• Penthouse construction
Alley Between Annex and Myles at Bay State Road (Exterior)
• Continue with masonry demo (Myles).
• Continue with installation of relieving angles.
• Continue with installation of brick (Annex)
Site Utility Work
• Continue load out of soil from basement.
• Continue with utilities within the site fence on the Beacon Street side of building.
