CILSE – Construction Activity – Week of September 20, 2015
For the week of September 20, 2015:
The installation of the concrete foundation will continue next week. The foundation work is approximately 75% complete and 1,500 yards of concrete poured to date. This equivalent to approximately 2,400 tons of concrete. The foundations will be 90% complete by the end of next week.
The project team continues to focus on the safety of the campus community. There will be times of heavy truck traffic along Commonwealth Avenue. Please continue to follow the path identified by construction barricades and signs and be ready to take direction from police officers and project staff when necessary.

The construction team will hold regularly scheduled communications meetings on the first Thursday of every month at 10:30 AM and the third Wednesday of every month at 1:00 PM. These meetings are open to the University community and will be held in the project site office at 602 Commonwealth Avenue (basement of Morse Auditorium). The schedule of these meetings is set through the fall semester (December 2015) and will be reexamined and/or reconfirmed for each semester as the project progresses.
The next communications meeting will be October 1st at 10:30 AM in Morse Auditorium. Please note that this meeting will be held in Morse Auditorium instead in the project site office.
