How It Started
Many of the Class of 2026 started at BU with Matriculation on Labor Day weekend in 2022. Then President Robert A. Brown welcomed students in his Matriculation address to "what we are hopeful will be a near-normal year on our campus, even with COVID-19 still with us."
During the 153rd Commencement Weekend (May 14-17), Boston University will celebrate the Class of 2026.
Photo: The annual Boston University Matriculation ceremony officially welcomed the Class of 2026 on Sunday, September 4. Students and their families were then invited to attend the Terrier Tailgate on Nickerson Field, featuring live music, free food, games, and swag.
