Niamh is a second year PhD student. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon, majoring in Comparative Literature and Classics. Their senior thesis was entitled “Unseen and Unsung Heroines: Emotional Labor in Ovid’s Heroides I and VII”. Her research interests include the feminine demonic and the Furies, Dido and Carthage, and the interplay of emotions and gender.
