Lecturer of Classical Studies

Curriculum Vitae

I studied The Classics and Chemistry at Colgate University (2015), earned my Master’s Degree in Classics at Columbia University (2016), and received my doctorate degree at Boston University (2023), with a dissertation focusing on the afterlife as reimagined in Latin Love Elegy. My research focuses broadly on Latin Literature of the Late Republic and Early Empire (especially Roman Satire and Latin Love Elegy), with a bit of Senecan Tragedy on the side. More specifically, I study metapoetics, monsters and monster theory, Roman reception of Epicureanism, and bilingual wordplay between Latin and Greek.
