Classical Studies PhD Student
Jackie began her PhD studies at Boston University in 2021. She is a California native, graduating with her BA (Cum Laude) from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a double major in European History (Honors) and Classical Studies (Highest Honors). In her 4th year, she taught Latin for St. Abraham’s Classical Christian Academy (2020-21). As a fledgling researcher, she has a variety of interests but for now enjoys reading Greek tragedy of the 5th c. BCE and investigating female roles therein. When not working, she can be found reading literature of the early 20th century, baking, or taking long walks!
