Prof. Zsuzsanna Varhelyi wins the 2018 Frank and Lynn Wisneski Award for Excellence in Teaching!
What a treat to share this good news! Professor Zsuzsanna Varhelyi has received the 2018 Frank and Lynn Wisneski Award for Excellence in Teaching. Professor Varhelyi’s outstanding teaching includes the creation of CL121: The Good Life. CL121 undertakes a close examination of literary and philosophical texts from the ancient world and modern psychology that address the question of what constitutes a good life. Themes explored include selfhood and the pursuit of happiness, individualism and communities, love, and health. BU’s arts&sciences magazine featured CL121 as the Fall 2017 cover story, available here.
