Josh Allbright, CL Major, awarded Hellenic Studies internship
Harvard University’s Center for Hellenic Studies has recently awarded a summer internship in Greece to Josh Allbright, an Ancient Greek and Latin major who attended the BUPh Summer Study in Greece in 2014 and is currently enrolled in Kelly Polychroniou’s Intermediate Modern Greek class, as well as continuing his studies in Ancient Greek, Latin, and French. Through the efforts of Ms. Polychroniou, director of our Modern Greek program, working with Dr. Nicolas Prevelakis, the Assistant Director of Curricular Development for the Center, Josh became the first non-Harvard student from the United States to hold this prestigious award. Josh will work as part of a team with a Greek student in Nafplio on a project that combines academic, linguistic, and civic components.
