Program Administrator
As Program Administrator, Kennedy manages all Cinema & Media Studies (CIMS) administrative and financial affairs, while simultaneously organizing on-campus screenings, film series and lectures. She appreciates the opportunity to learn from the BU Libraries’ impressive Maya Deren collection to study the works of this important experimental filmmaker. Outside of CIMS, Kennedy is the principal videographer and marketing liaison for a Cambridge-based Latin dance studio, and co-organizes the annual Boston Dance Film Festival.
Her favorite films include anything by Ken Burns, Mike Leigh’s Another Year, Woody Allen’s Interiors and Annie Hall, Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times, and The Wizard of Oz (1939).
