Film Programming in Boston

Harvard Film archive cinematheque presents films Friday through Monday year round. Open to the public, all screenings are held in the Archive’s 188-seat theater featuring exceptional film and digital projection located in the historic Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts. The Archive maintains over 40,000 motion picture prints, audio visual elements and ephemera.


Film at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston – The MFA’s Ruth and Carl J. Shapiro Film Program presents international, documentary, and independent films.


Boston International Film Festival – The 5-day event takes place in Boston every Spring.
