Italian Film Festival at BU
On April 10, the Italian Film Festival USA in Boston (a collaboration between Boston University, Boston College and Salem State University) presented the US premiere of Michele Riondino’s directorial debut Palazzina LAF (2023), about the politics of labor at the ILVA steel factory in southern Italy. About 150 people were in attendance. I introduced the film and Riondino engaged in a question-and-answer session with the audience.
