
Proteomics Instrumentation Specialist
Dr. Stephen Whelan is a Chemistry Biochemist by training, with over 25 years of translational research experience in cancer, metabolic diseases, etc., and particular interest in proteomics, PTMs, metabolomics, longevity and health. His responsibilities include training, teaching, maintaining, and collaborating on research projects with CIC instrumentation that includes LTQ-FT-ICR mass spectrometer, MALDI, LTQ XL ETD mass spectrometer, API 4000 LC-MS/MS, GC-QTOF, HPLC, Circular Dichroism, MST, TGA DSC, SPR, UV/Vis, FT-IR, and Florescence plate readers. His name appears on peer-reviewed manuscripts and he also contributes to grant development for the CIC.
