Sara Mathew grew up in Kentucky surrounded by various forms of visual art, a background that is evident in every design and rendering. She blends her love for visual art with a keen eye for detail and a fascination with costume history, creating costumes that not only adorn but also tell compelling stories. Sara works in close collaboration with actors, directors, and her fellow designers to tell stories that intrigue and entice the audience, as well as provoke conversation.
