Boston University Alum Captures Honest and Unscripted Moments

January 7, 2020

CFA alum Brooke Karzen (CFA’84) says that learning in a creative environment and being open to opportunities helped propel her career in Hollywood. As the Executive Vice President & Head of Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, Karzen has grown the company’s series slate from its initial series: “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette” and “America’s Best Dance Crew” to a studio-record number of shows including such mega hits as “The Voice,” “Ellen’s Game of Games,” and “Little Big Shots” with Melissa McCarthy.

Working in unscripted television, Karzen knows the importance of showing the “rough edges” and encourages CFA students to color outside the lines.
