2020 Ellalou Dimmock Honors Virtual Recital
The 2020 Ellalou Dimmock Vocal Honors Award Recital premiered virtually this year. CFA School of Music hosted a live premiere of the pre-recorded recital on the evening of Friday, December 4. Congratulations to this year’s winners, Tara Dougherty (CFA’21) and Tara Palazuelos (CFA’21)!
The Ellalou Dimmock Memorial Award is presented each year to students who demonstrate excellence in vocal performance throughout their undergraduate studies. Tara Dougherty is a BM soprano studying with Lynn Eustis, and Tara Palazuelos, BM mezzo-soprano, is in the studio of Penelope Bitzas.
The 2020 program includes art songs and duets by Boulanger, Brahms, Grever, Heggie, Lara, Schumann, Smith, Viardot, and Wallach. Dougherty and Palazuelos are accompanied by Professor Shiela Kibbe. See the full program here.
