Renowned Pianist, Martha Argerich, Visits Boston University

This past Monday Boston University School of Music had the extraordinary privilege of hosting renowned pianist Martha Argerich in a private master class with about a dozen of our piano performance majors. Arranged by department chair Gila Goldstein, Ms. Argerich listened to students from each teaching studio, and gave generous comments to the assembled group of students and piano faculty. Per request of Ms. Argerich, the class was not made public. What resulted was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for those students who were selected to perform for her.
