CFA Alumni Nominated for SAG Awards

Boston University College of Fine Arts is pleased to announce a School of Theatre alum associated with productions nominated for two SAG Awards this season:

Uzo Aduba (CFA’05):

  • Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series, Orange is the New Black
  • Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, Orange is the New Black

Aduba was nominated for these same awards in 2015 and 2016, and was the recipient of both each year. She is known for her role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren on the hit Netflix original series Orange is the New Black.

The cast of Orange is the New Black received the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series at The 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards which aired on Sunday, January 29.
