Making Art and Making Time for Yourself: Prioritizing Mental Health & Wellness

April 2, 2021
Twitter Facebook

Ethan Hobson (CFA’21, CAS’21) knows the life of a busy student very well. Pursuing a dual degree in Music Composition and Architecture, Ethan makes time to see a therapist, practice meditation, and go for cathartic walks around the city.

As a student, you may experience a range of challenges that may impact your mental health and wellness that can interfere with academic experiences and impact your daily life. If you are seeking guidance, resources, or support for your mental health and well being, there are many avenues to pursue at Boston University and beyond, no matter what kind of support you’re seeking.

Not sure where to start?

Find specific mental health and wellness resources at bu.edu/cfa/current-students/mental-health-wellness-resources.

Explore some of the most commonly utilized resources by our community at BU, in Boston, and online. Remember that getting help is a smart and courageous thing to do – for yourself, for those you care about, and for those who care about you.
