RADICAL RETURN Co-curators Mary Yang and Zhongkai Li founded Radical Characters, a study group and curatorial project examining connections between design and culture in Chinese and Chinese-American societies. For this show, a collaboration between BU Art Galleries and Shanghai’s IS A GALLERY, artists and graphic designers were invited to create an artwork based on “hui,” a grid-like Chinese character that means “return.” Through Dec. 12.
