
Logen Zimmerman
Operations Manager, School of Visual Arts
Logen Zimmerman is Operations Manager at the Boston University School of Visual Arts. His academic background is in film studies, visual culture, and museology, and he is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Urban Policy and Planning. He has written, through printed and online publications, about photographic history, collecting, and arts leadership. His own creative practice bridges the analogue and digital realms, and he recently completed a zine personally reflecting on his experiences of rediscovering VHS. As a School of Visual Arts researcher, he contributed to the historical recognition of former faculty members such as David Aronson, Philip Guston, and John Wilson. Further, as an enthusiast of the Washington Color School, for many years he presented on the work of Gene Davis in the Color class.
