Anya Harp is the Administrative Coordinator for Student Services at Boston University College of Fine Arts. She graduated summa cum laude from UMass Boston with a BA in Anthropology, focusing on cultural anthropology and immigration politics. Anya earned the Graduation Certificate of Merit for Distinction in Scholarship from the Department of Anthropology, where she conducted an independent study inspired by her Taiwanese heritage on Taiwanese aborigines within historical and contemporary anthropological contexts. She developed a syllabus for her proposed course, “Aboriginal Taiwan.”
During her time at UMass Boston, Anya worked as a Social Services Assistant, supporting students facing food and housing insecurity.
