Boston University College of Fine Arts Alumni Nominated for 2022 Tony Awards

Boston University College of Fine Arts is pleased to announce CFA alums who have been nominated for Tony Awards this season, including:

  • Uzo Aduba (CFA’05), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for Clyde’s
  • Stewart Lane (CFA’73), producer for The Minutes, nominated for Best Play
  • Drew Levy (CFA’03,’04) for Best Sound Design for A Strange Loop
  • Craig Lucas (CFA’73), author of Paradise Square, nominated for Best Book of a Musical
  • Sue Wagner (CFA’97), producer for The Lehman Trilogy, nominated for Best Play

Other BU alums who’ve been nominated include:

  • Diana DiMenna (COM’85), producer for Girl from the North Country, nominated for Best Musical
  • James L. Nederlander (CGS’80), producer for The Lehman Trilogy, nominated for Best Play; producer for MJ, nominated for Best Musical; and producer for A Strange Loop, also nominated for Best Musical

The 75th annual Tony Awards, presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, returns to Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 12 at 8 pm ET, and will be live-streamed through CBS & Paramount+.
