Thibaut Demaneuf, MSc, is a public health surveillance specialist and epidemic intelligence innovator based in the Pacific region. He currently serves as Surveillance and Research Officer at the Pacific Community (SPC), where he leads regional efforts to enhance epidemic intelligence systems. His work integrates artificial intelligence into event-based surveillance, including the development of predictive dashboards and large language model interfaces to support public health decision-making across diverse Pacific contexts. Thibaut began his career with the Government of New Caledonia, contributing to national health reform and the development of a country-wide e-health strategy. He has extensive experience in data science, public health analytics, and digital health strategy, and has led initiatives in outbreak response, health systems interoperability, and medico-economic analysis. Thibaut is committed to fostering collaboration across disciplines and cultures to strengthen pandemic and epidemic intelligence in the Pacific and beyond.
