Dr. Lind is an Assistant Professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the Boston University School of Public Health. She is passionate about leveraging large, retrospective data sources and employing flexible estimation methods to reduce the burden of infectious diseases.
Her research integrates statistical and mathematical modeling to address critical questions related to infectious disease prediction, prevention and treatment. Specifically, she focuses on predicting individual infection risk, population-level disease forecasting, and identifying causal drivers of infection. With an applied goal of informing policymakers, her work aims to enhance infectious disease prevention strategies, improve risk prediction and forecasting, and provide evidence-based insights to guide public health interventions.
She holds both an MPH and PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, Seattle WA.
