Jessica Ibiebele, PhD, MPH, RN
Postdoctoral Fellow, Center on Emerging Infectious Diseases
Dr. Ibiebele joined CEID as a postdoctoral associate in October 2025. She completed her PhD in Epidemiological Science from the University of Michigan, where she studied viral interaction and transmission of respiratory viruses. She received her MPH in global health and epidemiology from Saint Louis University and her BSN from the University of Arkansas. Additionally, she has several years of experience working as a hospital infection preventionist. Her research interests include infectious disease epidemiology, emerging pathogens, respiratory viruses, and infection prevention.
