Deborah T. Kochevar served for 12 years as dean and Henry and Lois Foster Professor at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and subsequently as provost ad interim for Tufts University. She is a former president and chair of the board of directors of the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges and former president of the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology. She has published in peer-reviewed research and teaching journals, garnered extramural funding for her work and is a dedicated teacher with special interests in translational medicine, international aspects of inter-professional One Health education and global One Health diplomacy.
