Fall 2025 FY101 Peer Mentor Application

  • Demographic Info

  • We assign Peer Mentors to students from their college. We have FY101 sections for CAS, Questrom, COM and Wheelock students so Peer Mentors must represent one of those colleges. Students from Sargent, CFA, ENG, SHA and CGS are encouraged to apply for leadership positions in their colleges*. *Exceptions include Peer Mentors from SAR, CFA, ENG, CGS, CDS and SHA who want to serve an FY101 First Gen or Transfer Section.
    We have some transfer sections and place some transfer Peer Mentors in those particular sections.
    We have some First Gen (your parents did not attend a 4 year university in the US) sections and will place First Gen Peer Mentors to lead those sections
    We have some CAS Undeclared sections and would like to place Peer Mentors with undeclared backgrounds in those sections.

  • Resume

    We don't expect a perfect (or very full, especially for freshmen) resume. Please upload your current resume as a PDF. Resume should not exceed one page.
  • Accepted file types: pdf, Max. file size: 100 MB.
    If selected, Peer Mentors must take WED ED:245: Theory and Practice of Peer Counseling which meets on Wednesdays from 2:30-4:15pm. If I serve as a Peer Mentor I cannot overload.

    While personal references are wonderful, we encourage you to list an academic or professional reference. References may be contacted but they do not need to submit anything to us directly.
