Weekly COVID Compliance Report: November 13
People not wearing masks still a problem on campus
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s timing was perfect for Boston University. The same week that the CDC announced new findings showing that masks not only protect wearers from spreading the coronavirus, but that they also protect wearers from contracting it, BU saw a spike in reports of people not wearing masks, from 4 last week to 14 this week.
Mask up, folks.
Other numbers from November 6 to 12 were also troubling. The incidents of students failing to comply with required attestation reports went from 1,458 to 2,113, and the number of students who saw their BU ID and Wi-FI deactivated rose from 264 to 287. Here are some other numbers:
