    1. Was someone forcing you to “invest” $200,000 in BU? Or did you choose to apply to BU, choose to attend BU, and choose to benefit from the academic, extracurricular, and student-life offerings of BU? You knew the cost coming in, and if you didn’t want to pay it, you didn’t have to. There are plenty of other colleges out there.
      Boston University gave you more than bacon and melon balls; it gave you a world-class education and a prestigious degree that will result in better career opportunities and higher earnings. That $200,000 was not invested in BU: it was invested in YOU and your human capital.

  1. Celebrating the class of 2014 over coffee at senior breakfast was a great way to reflect on shared journey and bond one last time before graduation.
