Sssh! Silent Disco Rocks Boston
Headphones plug dancers into their own beat

The phrase “dance to your own beat” couldn’t be more literal tonight at Good Life in downtown Boston.
The club is hosting a Silent Disco, where guests are handed special wireless headphones from Silent Storm Sound System at the door. Tuning into the music, users control their own volume, and if the venue has more than one DJ, choose which channel they want to listen to.
Other users can opt to hear nothing but the sound of dancing feet; the visual effect is more than enough entertainment. It could be one of the most fun (or funniest) things to do tonight in Boston.
The dance party starts at 9:30 p.m., with no cover charge or fee for use of headphones. Find Good Life at 28 Kingston St., Boston, a short walk from the MBTA’s Chinatown, Downtown Crossing, and South Station stops. For more information, call 617-451-2622.
