Deadspin’s Will Leitch Reads at Barnes & Noble
Celebrated sportswriter will sign copies of new book, Are We Winning?

Sports journalist Will Leitch, founder of the sports blog Deadspin, will read and sign copies of his new book, Are We Winning? Fathers and Sons in the New Golden Age of Baseball, at Barnes & Noble at Boston University in Kenmore Square tonight.
On the surface, Are We Winning? is about Leitch and his father attending a St. Louis Cardinals game at Wrigley Field, home of the rival Chicago Cubs. But Leitch delves into a hilarious play-by-play analysis of the current state of the game, including musings ranging from drug scandals in sports to his feelings for his dad.
Leitch founded Deadspin, part of the Gawker network, in 2005. He has shown up on Forbes lists of the biggest stars on the Internet, ahead of the founders of Digg.com and the Drudge Report. The author of three previous books, he is currently the sports columnist for New York magazine and also writes for the New York Times, GQ, Fast Company, and Esquire.
The reading, on Thursday, June 24, begins at 7 p.m. in the level five Reading Room at Barnes & Noble, 660 Beacon St. More information is available here.
