The rain held off — we’ll take that as a good omen for the years ahead.
Boston University’s Class of 2009 celebrated the University’s 136th Commencement on Sunday, May 17. Nickerson Field filled to overflowing. From the podium to the farthest vantage, the spectacle played out in public and private ways, a huge setting turned intimate, family by family, row by row, step by step, memory by memory.
If pictures translate into thousands of words, as the adage goes, then a moment like this deserves a bunch of pictures.
