Lachlan Patterson brings humor to life's sad stories Friday, September 7.

In most cases, getting dumped, having your car towed, or learning that a check has bounced are good reasons to frown, but comedian Lachlan Patterson is a master at turning those frowns upside down. The Canadian comic, who’s touring the United States and Canada, opens the BU Central LOL Comedy Series this week.

Patterson has appeared at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal and on the Comedy Network’s Comedy Now! Visit his web site.

Patterson will perform at BU Central on Friday, September 7. Doors open at 9 p.m. Special guests Renata Tutko and Ken Reid, both Boston comics, also will perform. All BU Central events are free with a BU ID. For more information, visit BU Central.
