Meet Henry Feng (CAS’11)

Henry Feng (CAS’11) hopes his experiences in Boston can match the time he spent in New York.

Name: Henry Feng
From: Cheshire, Connecticut
School: College of Arts and Sciences
Major: Chemistry

What convinced you to come to BU?
I love the big city. I worked in New York City for a month and got to live by myself the entire time. Being able to visit parts of New York and experience the big-city energy again was what I wanted.

What makes you feel most excited about coming to college?
Finally being by myself.

What makes you feel most nervous about coming to college?

It’s really hard (and I’m sure this is true for some other people as well) for me to break the ice and meet new people.

What kinds of activities do you want to become involved in?
Anything that interests me.

What is one of the goals of your first year at BU?
I really don’t know what to expect at BU. I’ll have a goal after I start my education there.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
A drawing of a car on a red-brick road that got me three gold stars when I was in second grade. But on a more mature level, it is probably getting into BU.

What will be your first stop when you start exploring Boston?

No clue.

How are you spending your summer vacation?
Seeing the world.
