Name: Alex Fish
From: Springfield, New Jersey
School: School of Hospitality Administration
Major: Hospitality management

What convinced you to come to BU?
After hearing Dean Stamas speak at an information session in NYC, I knew that BU was the place I wanted to be.

What makes you feel most excited about coming to college?
Leaving small-town life and being opened up to  a city filled with opportunities.

What makes you feel most nervous about coming to college?
Knowing that, for once, I will be outnumbered being a Yankee fan.

What kinds of activities do you want to become involved in?
Not quite sure yet, but I plan to attend every BU hockey game.

What is one of the goals of your first year at BU?
I really want to get my name “out there” in the hospitality industry.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Getting into such a great school as BU.

What will be your first stop when you start exploring Boston?
Fenway Park. Despite being a Yankees fan, it has always been a dream of mine to watch a game at Fenway (preferably against the Yankees).

How are you spending your summer vacation?
I am working at a local hotel, so I can learn more about the business I am going to be spending the rest of my life in.
