Hilary Weisman Graham (COM’92) is one of 15 finalists on On the Lot, a new reality television show that puts aspiring filmmakers to the test. The finalists are sequestered in a house in Los Angeles, and every week they produce short films from a different genre, ranging from comedies to thrillers. They’ll have access to the best resources the industry has to offer — professional writers, cast and crew, and maybe even Hollywood celebrities. And at the end, their films are judged by a panel of industry experts, and put to a vote by all the show’s viewers, American Idol-style.

Graham, who describes herself as a "creative, funny, and plucky" stay-at-home mom, is now in the running to win a a $1 million development deal at DreamWorks.

On the Lot airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on Fox. Tonight, viewers will see Graham’s latest effort and have a chance to vote for her film at www.thelot.com.
