The Jewish-Christian Debate
WBUR’s World of Ideas presents Professor Daniel Lasker

WBUR, Boston University’s award-winning National Public Radio station, rebroadcasts "The Jewish-Christian Debate: The Interplay of Philosophy and Polemics in the Middle Ages," presented by the Luce Program in Scripture and Literary Arts at Boston University.
Professor Daniel Lasker, of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, discussed the relationship between philosophy and polemics in medieval Jewish-Christian encounter. His now classic book, Jewish Philosophical Polemics against Christianity in the Middle Ages, is slated to appear in a new edition next year with a fresh introduction. He will present some of the highlights of that material, drawn from thirty years spent studying the subject. Lasker was introduced by Diana Lobel, an associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences Department of Religion.
