Paul Romesser (UNI’06) performs cancer research through his participation in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), a University program that pairs students with faculty for research projects. Paul’s research, under the direction of Gerald Denis, a School of Medicine assistant professor of pharmacology and medicine at MED’s Cancer Research Center, focuses on investigating why a specific protein causes non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including a recent issue of the Journal of Proteome Research.
