Myles Standish Hall won’t be tied down at dinner
Myles Standish Hall residents fought for casual dining rights in 1949.
In 1949, 500 BU students living in the all-male dormitory Myles Standish Hall, pictured above in 1958, boycotted its dining room to protest a rule requiring them to wear neckties to dinner.
