CELOP’s Majed al Marshad studies law
Majed al Marshad (LAW'06) enrolled in CELOP after earning degrees in Saudi Arabia.
Majed al Marshad (LAW’06) came to Boston University from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this year to study English at the Center for English Language and Orientation Programs (CELOP). He is now studying banking and financial law at the School of Law, balancing a heavy schedule of morning English classes and evening master’s program classes every day.
He decided to participate in CELOP, he says, because “America is the first country in the world, especially in education … there [is] high exposure to education that I can’t find in other places.” The motivated law student earned two degrees in his home country, from King Saud University, before attending Boston University.
