Graduate Certificate in AI & Education
The Graduate Certificate in AI & Education is a four-course, 16-unit program designed for educators, instructional leaders, and educational technologists who seek to apply artificial intelligence, data visualization, and evidence-based methods to improve instruction, equity, and system-level decisionmaking.
The program integrates foundational understanding of AI with applied coursework in data analytics, research design, and implementation science. The program emphasizes how AI can enhance classroom instruction, support student learning and development, and help educators make informed decisions while maintaining focus on what matters most: effective teaching and positive outcomes for all students.
Participants learn to interpret and visualize educational data, evaluate AI-supported interventions, and lead the responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools that scale effectively across classrooms, schools, and districts.
Through hands-on projects and collaborative discussions, participants build the technical fluency, analytical rigor, and ethical judgment needed to transform educational data into actionable, scalable insights. The program is fully online and may be applied toward the EdM in AI & Education.
Learning Outcomes
