Dean’s List and Graduation with Honors for Undergraduate Students

The Dean’s List is for undergraduate students only. Eligibility is determined by computing the grade point average for all academic work completed in the term for which the Dean’s List notation is to be entered. Students must:

• have been registered as full-time, 12 or more units;
• have obtained a 3.5 grade point average for the term; and
• have completed a minimum of 12 units at Boston University and have no incomplete courses for that term.

Note: Transfer units are not included in the unit count for calculation for Dean’s List eligibility.

Graduation with honors is awarded to undergraduate students only. Standards are set by Boston University and can be reviewed on the BU Registrar’s site sections for Grades & GPA and Latin Honors.

Graduate students are not eligible for Dean’s List or Latin Honors designations.
