Supervised Dental Public Health Field Experience

SDM PH 900

This course provides the students an opportunity to attain real-world public health, primary care, and public health policy and administration experience through placement at one of several community-based sites. The students contribute to the site's activities while developing practical skills and personal confidence as dental public health professionals. This allows the students to gain experience in one or more of the dental public health learning competencies and may be correlated with the students' research topics. This course satisfies the requirements for the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Dental Public Health.
