Students explore the process for producing athletics broadcasts with BU Athletics. Students learn the capabilities of the technology used for a live broadcast while following production standards set by network partners. As part of the experience, students gain an understanding of the individual roles integral to live sports production, identify the equipment used by each position, experience hands-on learning in the control room, review production standards, and collaborate to prepare a live broadcast. Effective Fall 2026, this course fulfills a single requirement in the following BU HUB area: Digital/Multimedia Expression.
